Swift Current Broncos News Release
The Swift Current Broncos have reassigned 1999 born defenseman Dom Schmiemann to The Notre Dame Hounds of the SMAAAHL. Schmiemann, who is 6'3 191 pounds, hails from James River Bridge Alberta. In 34 midget AAA games with Notre Dame last season, he had 2 goals, 14 assists and 69 penalty minutes. Schmiemann, the Broncos first round WHL bantam draft pick in 2014, had an assist and 7 penalty minutes in 4 pre-season games in 2015 with the Broncos.
The Broncos also reassigned 1997 born forward Jake Fletcher to the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL. The 5'10, 176 pound forward had 3 points in 2 pre-season games and appeared in the Broncos season opener in Brandon.
