Charleston Dirty Birds News Release
Charleston, WV (May 29, 2009) - After several phone conversations with a U.S. Customs liaison, the West Virginia Power received word this morning that the Obama Bobbleheads have been released from Customs and are currently en route to Appalachian Power Park. However, they will not arrive until next week. Fans will still receive a "Golden Ticket". The ticket will be good for one bobblehead upon their arrival at Appalachian Power Park.
The bobbleheads feature President Obama in his high school basketball uniform. Not only is it a tribute to the President's love of the game, it is also promotes fitness and a healthy lifestyle, the underlying theme of this Saturday's game.
