QUOTES
New York City FC Head Coach Ronny Deila:
On the team's mentality after the red card...
"I felt before the red card that we started to open up a little bit in the back and I wanted to go to five at the back to find more control. I think it was the right decision. Of course, when you see red, you need to defend well and hopefully get a chance in the end. We're happy with one point as you always want to get something in the end, but we didn't take any chances. 0-0 is important away and a point with us. We need to rest well and see how the players are, but of course there are going to be changes with the squad we have. We'll see where we end up and use this day, and tomorrow to see where they are and find the right lineup for the Toronto game."
New York City FC Midfielder Alfredo Morales
On his versatility in midfield and defense...
"I'm always someone who needs a task. I talk with Ronny and he tells me what he wants. I can adapt very good in different positions. I always try to be smart and play smart to do the stuff he wants me to do. I think he trusts me as a center back, as a midfielder. For me, I just want to help the team. Give my best. Give my all on the pitch. It doesn't matter where I play. If I have to play center back, I can help the team there, especially when I have the ball. For me, it's just about how I can help the team and perform at my best."
