Noise Maker Night at the Fish Tank

Saturday, December 14th is Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank noisemaker night at the ‘Fish Tank" as the Mississippi Sea Wolves come to town for game six of the Coca-Cola Cup Challenge at 7:05 p.m.

Bring a box of macaroni and cheese to the game and use it to cheer on the Kingfish to victory. Following the game drop the box off at one of the Food Bank drop bins located around the concourse as you exit. Any non-perishable items will be accepted throughout the game and anyone can come by the Centroplex between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday and make a donation.

The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank serves as a clearinghouse for collecting, storing and distributing food to our 100+ member agencies throughout twelve Louisiana parishes. In 2001, The Food Bank distributed 5,320,158 pounds of food to its member agencies. This amounted to over $7.9 million worth of food provided free of charge to meal sites and kitchens, group homes and shelters, pantries and similar agencies that comprise our agency network.
