HARRISON, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls return home to face the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, October 1. Kickoff at Red Bull Arena is set for 7 p.m., with coverage on MSG+, MSG GO and Red Bulls Radio. New York will look to extend its unbeaten streak to fourteen MLS games against the rival Union.

MSG+ and MSG GO will broadcast the match locally beginning at 6:30 with Red Bulls Game Night.

Red Bulls Radio kicks off at 6 p.m. with Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon. Harmon will be joined by former Red Bull and MetroStar Steve Jolley for the English broadcast, while Ernesto Motta provides Spanish play-by-play beginning at 7 p.m.

New York enters on the heels of a big week, clinching the club's seventh-straight playoff berth last Saturday before traveling to Guatemala to secure a first appearance in the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinals by winning Group F on Tuesday night.

The Red Bulls improved to 13-9-9 last weekend with a 1-0 victory last Saturday over Montreal. The Red Bulls sit tied with New York City FC for second place in the East, one point behind Toronto FC.

The Red Bulls played Antigua GFC to a 0-0 draw on Tuesday night in Guatemala City. The Red Bulls finished atop group F with eight points from four games, with a 2-0-2 record. The Red Bulls advance to the knockout stage for the first time in franchise history.

Daniel Royer headed in his first MLS goal in the 60th minute off a cross from Chris Duvall. Luis Robles made three saves to earn his MLS leading 10th shutout.

Philadelphia enters at 11-11-9, and hasn't won in four straight games. Newcomer and USMNT mainstay Alejandro Bedoya scored his first goal for the club last weekend last against Toronto FC. Chris Pontius leads the team with 11 goals, including three goals in two games against the Red Bulls this season. Fabian Herbers has been dangerous setting up teammates, as he has seven assists in only 10 starts.

New York is 9-5-3 all-time against Philadelphia, and a strong 6-1-1 in games played at Red Bull Arena. As part of the thirteen game undefeated streak, New York tied Philadelphia, 2-2 on the road in mid-July.

After Saturday, the Red Bulls will break for the FIFA window before closing out the home portion of the regular season with a match against Columbus Crew SC on October 16at 3:00 p.m.
