The New York Red Bulls (5-7-4, 19 points) battled FC Cincinnati (3-7-6, 15 points) to a 0-0 draw at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday night.
New York recorded their fifth clean sheet of the season and their first since June 27 against Atlanta United FC.
The Red Bulls have now tallied 76 clean sheets at Red Bull Arena since 2010, which is ranked first in MLS in that timespan.
Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel earned his fifth shutout of the season, including his fourth at Red Bull Arena. He ranks tied for third in MLS in clean sheets.
Coronel made two saves tonight and is now ranked seventh in MLS in saves.
Defender Andrew Gutman made his return to the starting lineup for the first time since May 8 against Toronto FC, after suffering from a knee injury.
