New Mexico United Announces 2020 Season Dates, Along with New Season-Long Partnership

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The long-anticipated 2020 match dates for New Mexico United were rolled out today at a press conference set in the beautiful Bien Shur restaurant inside of Sandia Resort & Casino.

The team's inaugural season was nothing short of historic - with each home match seeing an average attendance of 12,693 fans - the highest among USL Championship teams, nationwide. Building off of last season, 2020 will feature 17 home matches with an equal amount of away matches, with some pre-season friendly matches to be announced soon.

NM United's first matches in the new year will be on the road - facing Austin Bold FC on March 7, and Tulsa FC on March 14. Fans can look forward to being back in 'The Lab' on March 21, for the first home match against regional rival El Paso Locomotive FC.

New to next season, the Pueblo of Sandia and Sandia Resort & Casino were introduced as the Official Presenting Partners of the 2020 Season, the first presenting partnership in franchise history.

"Amazing things can happen when we come together as a community," said Peter Trevisani, majority owner and CEO of New Mexico United. "This partnership has the potential to inspire and transform so many New Mexicans. We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to work closely with Sandia in the 2020 season."

Tribal Leadership of the Pueblo of Sandia have expressed that they are looking forward to becoming a united force with the professional soccer team in order to showcase all that New Mexico has to offer. Additionally, a large focus of the partnership will be finding meaningful ways to impact the local community through several co-hosted events and engaging with tribal youth.
