
New Look Website Unveiled

The Spokane Chiefs homepage at www.spokanechiefs.com will have a new look after undergoing an upgrade by WhiteRunkle Interactive.
Fans will continue to be updated on the most recent Chiefs news, Rockwood Clinic Injury Report, Columbia Paint and Coatings Trivia Challenge and the Avista Community MVP. Visitors can also sign up for the Chiefs newsletter by entering their email address on the Newsletter feature on the front page.
In the near future, fans will have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs on-line by clicking on the "Get Souvenirs" link on the right hand side of the main page. Hats, jerseys and other paraphernalia will be available.
Included in the new look will be a console with realtime stats and scoring for every Spokane Chiefs game, home or away, that will link to an up-to-date game sheet. Also available will be real time scores from all other games around the WHL.
The Chiefs front-page still features a "Player Spotlight" that rotates photos and player information each time fans visit the site. Viewers will also be able to scroll between player's bios and up-to-date stats through the same feature.
Fans can also find out about their favorite promotion by clicking on a home game on the calendar on the left hand side of the front page.
Comcast will allow fans the opportunity to become the Spokane Chiefs General Manager for a Day and receive a V.I.P. night behind the scenes. This once in a lifetime opportunity includes one fan in the second half of the season winning an evening along side the Chiefs General Manager Tim Speltz, a meeting with the coaches, a chance to stand on the bench during the pre-game warm-ups and an inside look at the Spokane Arena on a gameday. Fans can sign up by clicking on the "Sign Up Now" button on the front page.
Trivia questions will also be provided each home game through the Columbia Paint and Coatings Trivia Question. For all contestants that answer the questions correctly, the Chiefs will choose one winner for prizes from Columbia Paint and Coatings.
The Chiefs will begin the a two game weekend on road on Friday night when they take on the Kamloops Blazers before returning home for a date with the Tri-City Americans. The first 10,000 fans through the gates will receive a pair of CheerStix⢠courtesy of Webster University.
