Everett Silvertips News Release
On the road in Canada, the Everett Silvertips faced off against the Prince Albert Raiders at the Prince Albert Comuniplex, ending it on top with a score of 1-0.
Putting the only points up on the board for either team, forward Curtis Billsten comes through about midway through the first period with a power play goal, receiving help from defenseman Ivan Baranka. This brings Billsten's goals to date up to three.
Mike Wall stood strong in goal tonight stopping all 20 Raider shots to earn his 3rd shutout of the year. On the power play, Everett went 1 for 4 while Prince Albert could not convert on their two opportunities with the extra man advantage. The Silvertips' record now moves to 8-5-2-2.
Everett now travels to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan tomorrow, November 6th to go up against the Blades at the Credit Union Centre. Game time is set for 5pm Pacific Standard Time.
