CRACKNELL NAMED COMMUNITY PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Cranbrook, BC â The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club is pleased to announce that Adam Cracknell has been named the East Kootenay Community Credit Union Community Player of the Month for September / October.
Each month during the regular season the ICE select a community player of the month. Throughout the year, players make many community appearances in schools, Bell Captains Clinics and at various community events. The player who is selected receives a special gift from the East Kootenay Community Credit Union.
Adam participated in the T.M. Roberts Learn to Skate Program and the St. Mary's Walk-A-Thon as well as instructed at the Hockey Academy on at least four separate occasions.
The ICE would like to congratulate Adam and thank the East Kootenay Community Credit Union for their sponsorship of this award.
DAWES NAMED JEWELS ON NINTH PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Cranbrook, BC â The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club is pleased to announce that Nigel Dawes has been named the Jewels on Ninth Player of the Month for September / October.
Each month during the regular season the ICE select a player of the month. The player who is selected receives a special gift from Jewels on Ninth.
Nigel played in all 18 games over the two months and recorded 12 goals and seven assists. Included in his totals were four power play goals, one shorthanded goal and two game winning goals. Nigel played in his 200th career WHL game October 29 in Saskatoon.
The ICE would like to congratulate Nigel and thank Jewels on Ninth and Esquire Watches for their sponsorship of this award.
