BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors Professional Hockey Club, winners of the 2004-05 ECHL Website of the Year, announced the launch of their newly revamped official website www.bakersfieldcondors.com. The new site was designed by Condors Director of Creative Services Ryan Hanson and developed in conjunction with iSportsMedia.
The new look of the website features a large current events photo on the main page that allows fans to see the Condors top stories at the click of a button. The site now displays navigation buttons on the top of the page along with larger, more appealing menu buttons that can be found on the right side of the home page to allow fans easy access to their favorite Condors information including 2006-07 ticket packages, the Condors Team Store, Condor Confessions (a unique player blog) and the ability to watch and listen to Condors games live courtesy of B2 Networks and KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230. Portions of the website including the 2006-07 game schedules will continue to be available in Spanish. The new site also allows fans an even more up close and personal look at the Condors on the official Condors myspace at www.myspace.com/bakersfieldcondors.
Fans can stay to keep up-to-date with current headlines, Condors mailbag entries, Condorstown community news and events and ECHL news available through links on the main page. A schedule preview of upcoming games will continue to be displayed on the home page along with the Condors web poll where fans have the opportunity to voice their opinions on promotions, events and other ideas in Condorstown. A Condors TV section allows fans the opportunity to check out all of the latest Condors television commercials, home game player introduction videos and the 2005 Beautiful Bakersfield Awards Ceremony video, where the Condors were the recipient of the 2005 Beautiful Bakersfield Humanitarian Group Award.
"We are very excited with our new design of the website for the upcoming 2006-07 season," said Director of Creative Services Ryan Hanson. "After winning the 2004-05 ECHL website of the year award we decided that we wanted to update the look of the site while keeping features from the award- winning design. iSportsMedia has helped develop a great site and we are excited about this new launch."
In the upcoming weeks fans will be able to check out the newly re-designed Kids Club page that will feature fun and exciting games, player news and information and web polls geared especially to kids.
