The Chicago Wolves have signed center CORY LAROSE and left wing BRAD LARSEN.

LAROSE made his National Hockey League debut with the New York Rangers last season, notching one assist and four penalty minutes in seven games. The 29-year-old forward also shared first on the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack, with 36 assists and ranked fourth on the club with 49 points in 69 games last year.

The Campbellton, New Brunswick, native was named to the AHL¹s 2002 All-Rookie Team after leading first-year pros in the league and the Houston Aeros with 32 goals and 64 points in 78 games. Overall, LAROSE has recorded 72 goals, 116 assists and 188 points in 229 career AHL games with Houston (2001-2003) and Hartford (2002-2004).

LAROSE ­ who won the 1999 NCAA Championship with the University of Maine ­ was named to the Hockey East First All-Star Team and the NCAA East Second All-American Team in 1999-2000 after leading the team with 36 assists and 51 points in 39 games. Overall, LAROSE tallied 61 goals, 119 assists and 180 points in 146 games spanning four seasons with the Black Bears (1996-2000).

Last year, LARSEN went scoreless in six games with the Atlanta Thrashers after being claimed on waivers from the Colorado Avalanche on Feb. 25. The 27-year-old forward tallied four points (2G, 2A) and 11 penalty minutes in 26 games with the Avalanche. LARSEN also played 21 games with Colorado¹s AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears, notching 13 assists, 17 points and 40 penalty minutes in those contests.

Overall, the Nakusp, British Columbia, native has played 98 NHL games, posting 12 assists, 16 points and 62 penalty minutes in 62 games with the Avalanche (1997-2004) and Thrashers (2003-04). LARSEN has also appeared in 21 NHL playoff contests, which all came during the 2002 postseason, helping Colorado advance to Game 7 of the Western Conference Final against the eventual champion Detroit Red Wings.
