Binghamton Senators to Play Intrasquad Scrimmage on September 29th

BINGHAMTON, NY - Binghamton Senators fans will have their first chance to see the 2004-05 team in action at an intrasquad scrimmage to be held Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004 at 7:05 p.m. in the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

Tickets cost $6 for general admission and will go on sale Friday, Sept. 24th at 8:00 a.m. at the Binghamton Senators executive office on the 3rd floor of the arena. The tickets go on sale at the arena box office at 10 a.m. Friday and all other ticketmaster outlets will begin selling tickets at their normal times Friday. Tickets can also be purchased beginning at 8 a.m.Friday on the internet at www.binghamtonsenators.com or by calling 722-SENS.

"With the excitement surrounding the upcoming season, we wanted to give our fans who have been waiting all summer to see hockey a sneak preview of the 2004-2005 B-Sens," said Tom Mitchell, executive vice president – operations of the Binghamton Senators.

Several players who spent part or all of the 2003-04 season playing in the National Hockey League have been assigned to the Binghamton Senators camp this season including Jason Spezza, Antoine Vermette, Anton Volchenkov, Brian Pothier and Dominik Hasek.

The B-Sens training camp roster will be split into a black team and a white team for the scrimmage.
