The 2022 MLS Expansion Draft on Friday, Nov. 11 begins at 7:00 p.m. ET (watch on MLSsoccer.com. St. Louis City SC may select five players from the pool of eligible players, and no more than a single player from any one club. The remaining 23 clubs, including New England, may protect up to 12 players from their Senior and Supplemental rosters. If a player has a no-trade clause in his contract, his MLS club must protect him and he will count as one of the 12 protected players. Designated Players and other discretionary players such as U22 Initiative signings are not automatically protected.
