New Capacity Restrictions at GFL Memorial Gardens
January 5, 2022 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Soo Greyhounds News Release
The province of Ontario announced Monday morning that no spectators will be allowed into sports and entertainment venues for a period of three weeks commencing today (January 5th, 2022).
Unfortunately, this announcement includes Soo Greyhounds games played at the GFL Memorial Gardens between now and January 26th.
Season ticket holders will be provided with a credit for the games that fans are not allowed to attend.
Credit will be held in season ticket account and can be applied towards playoff tickets.
All single-game/walk-up ticket purchasers will receive a refund from the GFL Memorial Gardens box office. For all walk up tickets purchased via credit card, your refunds will be automatically processed to the card used at the time of purchase (no need to call or visit the box office).
For any tickets purchased via cash/debit, more details will come regarding the pickup dates and times for refunds.
Please see below for a list of affected games:
Friday, January 7 vs Windsor at 7:07
Saturday, January 8 vs Windsor at 7:07
Saturday, January 15 vs Owen Sound at 7:07
Sunday, January 16 vs Owen Sound at 2:07
Wednesday, January 26 vs Saginaw at 7:07
Despite not being able to attend our games in person, there are many ways in which you can stay up to date on all of the Soo Greyhounds' action!
You can listen live to the voice of the Hounds Gerry Liscumb Jr. on the Sault's Rock Station Rock 101 (101.3 FM) or via the internet radio broadcast (click here for radio broadcast).
All home and away games are also available on CHL TV.
We appreciate the tenacity and support from all of HoundsNation and we can't wait for the right time to welcome you all back safely to cheer on your Hounds!
The Hound Pound located on the concourse inside the GFL Memorial Gardens will be open for all fans every Friday from 12pm - 4pm.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please contact Matt at 705-574-0090 or matt@soogreyhounds.com.
