New Book, Long-Time AHL Coach on Puska on Pucks

A new book that looks at some of the terrific stories in Texas hockey history and a long-time American Hockey League coach are featured on Episode 29 of Puska on Pucks, The Original Internet Hockey Show.
Join host Denis J. Puska as he visits with Laredo Bucks Owner Glenn Hart about a new book he has co-authored called The Lone Star Skate, Improbable (But True) Stories of Texas's Hockey Heroes. Worcester Sharks Head Coach Roy Sommer is also on Puska on Pucks. Sommer, who has now coached in more than 1,000 American Hockey League games, will talk with Puska about his coaching career and an interesting incident that took place where he got hit in the face with the puck, but returned to the game a short time later.
The silly season in hockey has begun with plenty of rumors surrounding not only which team will in operation for next season, but in what leagues will they play in? There is also a new installment of Ice Chips that includes Johnstown, PA getting another 10 ECHL Wheeling Nailers' games next season, a coaching change in Elmira and a beer sponsorship announcement for the NHL.
