Need A Flu Shot? Come To A Game!

October 23, 2007 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Mississippi RiverKings News Release

Rodney Dangerfield once said, "I went to a boxing match and a hockey game broke out."

Next month, you could go to a hockey game and see a flu clinic break out!

Shots on the Spot of Bartlett will administer vaccinations at the DeSoto Civic Center on Saturday, November 17 as the Mississippi RiverKings host the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs.

The game won't start until 7:05 p.m., but fans can enter the DCC as soon as 6 o'clock to receive influenza, Hepatitis B, pneumonia, and Vitamin B-12 shots at normal costs. Shots on the Spot will make vaccines available to fans until the end of the second intermission.

Qualified and licensed healthcare professionals will provide them to those with interest.

Shots on the Spot offers on-site vaccinations and wellness services throughout the Mid-South to corporations, churches, and community groups. The company comes to facilities and offices by scheduling services around their workdays, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Shots on the Spot also offers other services. It handles drug and tuberculosis skin tests, as well as screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood glucose.

For more information on its services, call Shots on the Spot at (901) 483-SHOT. You can also visit the office on 6025 Stage Road, Suite 42-137 in Bartlett, or log on to the World Wide Web at http://shotsonthespot.com.
