From the Notes

3,000 for Nashville: Last night's win over Fresno was the 3,000th in Nashville Sounds franchise history. The Sounds are 3,000-2,836 all-time, which is a winning percentage of .514. 1,485 of the 3,000 wins have come in the PCL era (1998-present). 131 of the wins have come at First Tennessee Park.

Back at .500: Last night's win also put the Sounds at an even .500 at 55-55. The last time they were .500 was going into the June 10 game against Tacoma. The last time Nashville was over .500 was after an 11-3 win against Tacoma on June 8 that pushed their record to 30-29.

W5: The Sounds have matched their longest winning streak of the season at five games. It's their third five-game winning streak in 2018. They won five straight from April 14-19 and from July 6-13. The Iowa Cubs snapped both streaks.

Keys to the Lombo: Infielder Steve Lombardozzi has reached safely in eight straight games. Since July 26, Lombardozzi has the fourth-highest on-base percentage in the Pacific Coast League at .553. In the eight games since July 26, he's hitting .464 (13-for-28) with 12 runs, 8 RBI, 4 doubles and 8 walks. His 12 runs during the stretch is second-most in the league behind only Adolis Garcia of Memphis (13).

Hendriks Dialed In: Reliever Liam Hendriks has thrown 10.1 consecutive innings without allowing a run. Since July 15, Hendriks has eight straight scoreless outings and has racked up 17 strikeouts while allowing only 7 hits.

Since RBI became official stat in 1920, Ramón Laureano is first A's player to have walkoff RBI hit for first MLB hit & first since Kyle Farmer (LAD, 7/30/17). Laureano is 2nd Dominican-born player to have walkoff RBI hit for first MLB hit (also: NYY's Alfonso Soriano, 9/24/99).
