From the Notes

Eight is Great for Garcia: Anthony Garcia set a Nashville Sounds franchise record with eight RBI in last night's 11-1 win. Garcia's eighth-inning walk gave him eight runs batted in on the night and broke the record previously shared by eight former Sounds. The last Sounds player to have seven RBI in a single game was Erick Almonte on June 6, 2011 at New Orleans.

Multi-Mashing: Garcia notched his third multi-homer game of the season when he hit his second home run of the game in the sixth inning last night. Garcia's third of the season gives the Sounds seven multi-homer games in 2018. Jorge Mateo, Franklin Barreto, Nick Martini and Jake Smolinski have each clubbed a pair of home runs in a single game as well.

Five-Plus RBI Games: Of the five, five-plus RBI games by a Nashville Sounds player this season, Anthony Garcia owns four. Garcia's other five-RBI games came against Tacoma on June 8, Colorado Springs on May 10 and Colorado Springs on May 3. Franklin Barreto had a five RBI game against Memphis on May 6.

Lucky Number Seven: The seven runs scored by Nashville in the second inning last night was their second-largest single inning output this year. The Sounds scored eight runs in the first inning against Colorado Springs on May 10.

Four Balls, Four Walks: Nashville catcher Beau Taylor matched a franchise record last night when he drew four walks. Taylor joins fellow catcher Josh Phegley as the two Nashville players to record four walks in a game this season. Taylor is the 19th player in franchise history to have four walks in a single game.
