Walk This Way: Last night the Sounds drew 10 walks, the second most in a single game this season. Last night Bruce Maxwell became the third Sounds player this season and 20th all-time to walk four times in a game, which matched a Sounds single-game record. Nashville was walked 12 times on June 8 against Tacoma. The single-game record for the Sounds is 13 walks, which they drew on June 29, 2002 at Iowa.

Laureano Loves July: Outfielder Ramón Laureano has been on a tear in the month of July and more specifically in his last seven games. On his current seven-game hitting streak he is batting .500 (14-for-28) with 7 runs, 4 doubles, 3 home runs, and 7 RBI. He had a season-long 11-game hitting streak from July 1-13. Overall in July Laureano is batting .351 (34-for-97) with 19 runs, 7 doubles, 1 triple, 7 home runs, and 17 RBI.
