Martini's streak is tied for the 5th-longest (Joe Koshansky - '10) by a Sounds player in the PCL era. Adam Hyzdu has the 4th-longest streak by a Sounds player when he hit safely in 19 straight games during the 2001 season.
49 and Counting: Nick Martini extended his on-base streak to 49 games last night with a single in the fifth inning. He's hitting .343 (60-for-175) with 33 runs, 27 RBI, 10 doubles, 5 home runs and 36 walks during the streak that is the longest in Minor League Baseball.
