From the Notes

Slow Start: The Sounds have dropped three straight games to fall to 1-3 on the young season. The last time the Sounds began a campaign 1-4 was in 2012. Nashville began that season 1-5 and finished 67-77.

Five-Game Frustrations: With a loss today the Sounds would drop a five game series 4-1 for the first time since 2013 at Albuquerque. The Sounds dropped the first four games of the series before salvaging a victory in game five.

Shooting Blanks: After yesterday's shutout loss, the Sounds look to avoid being blanked in back-to-back games today. New Orleans shutout Nashville in back-to-back games twice in 2017. They did so in Music City on June 19 & 20 with 1-0 and 6-0 wins respectively. The Baby Cakes also blanked the Sounds in The Big Easy on July 23 & 24 with 6-0 and 8-0 victories.
