MEMPHIS, Tennessee - With new Memphis Tigers men's basketball coach Penny Hardaway scheduled to throw the first pitch to open the season tomorrow night, the defending Pacific Coast League champion Memphis Redbirds return to AutoZone Park for a seven-game homestand against the Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals) and Iowa Cubs (Cubs) running tomorrow through next Monday.

The week includes the season's first postgame fireworks show on Saturday, presented by Tennessee Lottery, two PCL championship item giveaways on Tuesday and Saturday, two nights with $2 beers on Tuesday and Thursday, and the season's first All-You-Can-Eat Night on Thursday, featuring wings.

Sunday is the first Papa John's Rockey's Kids Club Day, where Kids Club members have a free Bluff ticket to the game and can participate in on-field games and promotions. Kids Club memberships include other perks, such as a free Papa John's pizza when signing up and a promo code for discounts at Papa John's throughout the summer. The season's first Friday Family Pack specialty ticket offer is this week as well, featuring four free hot dogs, four free sodas, one free large bottomless popcorn, and four Chick-fil-A combo meal offer cards with the purchase of four Field Box tickets to Friday's game at www.memphisredbirds.com/fridayfamilypack.

Every time the Redbirds win a game at AutoZone Park this season, fans will receive a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Tuesday, April 10 - 7:05 p.m. (gates at 6:00)

- Opening Day: fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:40 to see pregame ceremonies welcoming the 2018 Redbirds and honoring the championship-winning 2017 club

- Penny Hardaway First Pitch: new Memphis Tigers men's basketball coach Penny Hardaway is scheduled to throw the first pitch to open the season

- Championship Pennant Giveaway: the first 1,500 fans when gates open receive a Championship Pennant with the names of every player and coach who contributed to the PCL title

- Thirsty Thursday featuring $2 Beers: fans can enjoy select $2 beers throughout the stadium

Sunday, April 15 - 2:05 p.m. (gates at 1:00)

- Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sunday: the first 2,500 kids ages 12 and under receive a free ice cream treat, courtesy of Prairie Farms Dairy

- Papa John's Rockey's Kids Club Day: Kids Club members have a free Bluff ticket to the game and can participate in the on-field games and contests - to sign up, visit www.memphisredbirds.com/kidsclub

- Kids Run the Bases: kids can run the bases just like the pros after the game, weather permitting

- 901 Balloon Guy Appearance: the amazing 901 Balloon Guy will be at the ballpark to make balloons for kids to take home and remember the game
