
Oklahoma City Dodgers' 2018 Home Opener Tomorrow At Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Dodgers open the team's 21st season at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday against the Round Rock Express, kicking off a seven-game homestand.
The Dodgers began the 2018 Pacific Coast League season Thursday with a road series at the Iowa Cubs and now return to Oklahoma City for their home season debut.
Gates will open at 6 p.m. and Opening Day pregame festivities will take place on the field starting around 6:45 p.m. Watch a special entrance by mascot Brix in a 1929 Dodge provided by Reno Rod and Custom Supply. The Oklahoma Wing of the Commemorative Air Force will perform a pregame flyover featuring a Fairchild PT-19 trainer aircraft from the World War II era.
A fireworks show, presented by Kimray, will follow the conclusion of the Dodgers' first home game of 2018.
Tuesday also marks the grand opening of the new Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame location at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The museum will open from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., including a 1:30 p.m. ribbon cutting with Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett and Mayor-elect David Holt.
The season-opening homestand then continues at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, followed by several Opening Weekend events. The Dodgers wrap up a three-game series against Round Rock with a 7:05 p.m. game on a $2 Thursday, featuring $2 Pepsi products and select beer.
The Dodgers then open a four-game series against the New Orleans Baby Cakes at 7:05 p.m. Friday, with several ceremonial pregame events scheduled in collaboration with the Oklahoma City Police Department. Fireworks, presented by True Sky Credit Union, are slated to follow the game.
The series continues with a 7:05 p.m. game Saturday against New Orleans, featuring the first INTEGRIS "Home Run for Life" of the season following the third inning. The OKC Dodgers play New Orleans at 2:05 p.m. on the first Chaparral Energy Family Sunday of the season, featuring pregame player autographs, a mascot meet-and-greet, face painters, inflatables and postgame kids run the bases. The homestand wraps up with a 7:05 p.m. game Monday against New Orleans.
