The duo pitched six shutout innings, striking out ten along the way. Nashville rallied for a run in the eighth and two in the ninth to tie the game. Joaquin Arias singled with one out and advanced to third on a single by Nelson Cruz. With Davis at the plate, Cruz attempted to steal second and got caught in a rundown. Arias stole home and the RedHawks earned their first walk-off win since opening night. Wes Littleton blew his first save of the season, but still notched the win.
WALK-OFF W's: The RedHawks won their second game this season in walk-off fashion with last night's victory. Oklahoma beat Memphis 4-3 on opening night when Ryan Roberts hit an RBI single to centerfield that scored Jarrod Saltalamacchia from second to give the RedHawks a 4-3 win in ten innings. Oklahoma has lost five games in walk-off fashion this season.
STOLEN: Joaquin Arias was credited with a steal of home in last night's win. The stolen base was his 14th of the season, matching Nelson Cruz for the team lead. Both RedHawks are one swipe behind Ivan Ochoa of Fresno for the league lead.
Sole Possession: The RedHawks reclaimed sole possession of first place in the American South with last night's win. New Orleans lost 13-0 to Omaha at home, a game that featured seven no-hit innings by Brandon Duckworth.
NASHVILLE AT A GLANCE: Vinny Rotino has the longest active hitting streak in the PCL, extended to 19 games with a third inning single... Corresponding roster moves will need to be made. Steve Rowe is slated to make his fifth start to fill Hurley's spot in the RedHawks rotation... One night after going 3-8 with runners in scoring position, Oklahoma went 0-6 in the same situation. The RedHawks are 16-60 with runners in scoring position against the Sounds this year... The RedHawks have outscored the Sounds 35-16 through six games this season, having won all six. Oklahoma beat Nashville six times in 18 meetings all of last season...
