POST-MATCH QUOTES FROM NASHVILLE SOCCER CLUB

HEAD COACH GARY SMITH

(Opening Statement)

"A very resilient, a very determined and in the end a very well-worked professional performance from

the group. This was against a very talented and difficult team to play. Certainly not an easy place, we

have had difficulties of course, but I thought the guys showed tremendous resilience and a great

attitude to get ourselves back on track again after two difficult results the past couple of weeks."

WINGER FAFÃ PICAULT

(On his goal)

"I think it was just a good movement and a smart play by Hany [Mukhtar] to give up the ball after being

knocked down and just played into a spot where he knows I can get it when I speak. We had enough

pace to allow me to get on top of it and the goalie was off so I just lobbed it in."

(On how he beat Orlando's keeper)

"I think it's a blessing to score in this league, especially coming from that diagonal left side. I have a

lot of peace so the important thing is to kind of split center backs and then once the ball is into a good

spot, or good enough spot, I just have to give it a touch. If you touch it too hard, it's going over the post

so just enough to beat the goalie and the ball will do the rest of the stuff and get in the net."
