LOS ANGELES - After earning a shutout in a 0-0 draw on the road at the Portland Timbers on March 25, which extended a three-match unbeaten run, the LA Galaxy will host Central American Heritage Night presented by Prevnar-20 when the club squares off against Seattle Sounders FC at Dignity Health Sports Park tonight, Saturday, April 1 (4:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV; FOX and FOX Deportes; LA Galaxy Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio).
Saturday's match marks the 46th meeting across all competitions between the LA Galaxy (0-1-3, 3 pts) and Seattle Sounders FC (3-1-1, 10 pts), with the Galaxy trailing the all-time series 15-17-13. Against Seattle, the Galaxy hold a 10-12-13 record in league play, a 4-3-0 record in the MLS Cup Playoffs and a 1-2-0 record in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. In 18 all-time regular-season matches played between the two teams at Dignity Heath Sports Park, the LA Galaxy hold a 6-5-7 record at home against Seattle. In the last meeting at Dignity Health Sports Park between the two teams, LA and Seattle played to a 3-3 draw on Aug. 19, 2022, with Dejan Joveljić scoring a stoppage-time equalizing goal to secure the Galaxy a point at home.
