Key Storylines
1. Celebrating Juneteenth - Join our Juneteenth celebration, the annual commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. The Boys in Gold will be wearing Juneteenth shirts during warm ups, while our Patch of the Match benefits My Brother's Keeper.
2. Super Sam Soars - Sam Surridge made a statement on Wednesday with his two goals against Toronto FC. With his expertly finished first goal to make it 1-1 and his skillful finish to win the match in the last minutes, Surridge now leads the Boys in Gold with seven goals in league action. His performance also earned him a spot in the MLS Team of the Matchday.
3. Back-to-Back at Home - After two consecutive matches on the road, this weekend's match against NYCFC kicks off a two-match homestand. Inter Miami returns to Music City on Saturday, June 29.
Opposition Player to Watch
Santiago Rodríguez is the offensive powerhouse for NYCFC this season. With seven goals and six assists, his 13 total goal involvements lead NYCFC. The next closest player has seven total goal involvements, so the Nashville SC backline will need to focus on countering Rodríguez's influence on the match.
