Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox fell to the Nashville Sounds 6-3 on Sunday evening. Sox starter Jason Young allowed 5 runs on 11 hits while striking out 5 in 6 innings of work. The Sox offense could not capitalize on opportunities as they left 7 men stranded during the night. Kit Pellow blasted his team leading 16th home run of the year and both Pablo Ozuna and Young collected 2 hits apiece. These two teams continue the series Monday evening when Cory Vance (8-9, 4.92) takes the mound for the Sox against Nelson Figueroa (11-5, 3.16) of Nashville.
