
Nappo to New Orleans; Logan activated from Disabled List

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Mississippi Braves at 7:05 p.m. at Bragan Field.
Left-handed relief pitcher Greg Nappo has been transferred from Jacksonville to Triple-A New Orleans. Nappo has pitched in 10 games including one start for the Suns this year, going 3-0 with a 2.04 ERA in 17 and two-thirds innings of work.
In a corresponding move, right-handed relief pitcher Blake Logan has been reinstated from Jacksonville's disabled list to the Suns active roster. Logan was placed on the disabled list on May 2 with right elbow inflammation. Logan with the Suns this season had pitched in six games, going 1-0 with a 3.27 ERA in 11 innings.
The Suns roster now stands at 25 active players, and a revised roster is attached.
The Suns and Braves will continue their series Saturday night with a first pitch set for 7:05 p.m. ET from Bragan Field. The Suns will send out right-hander Austin Brice (1-3, 8.09 ERA) while the Braves will counter with righty Jorge Reyes (4-2, 1.73 ERA).
