Napa Auto Parts brings AHL hockey to Boise

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads announced today, along with the Utah Grizzlies and Edmonton Road Runners, that the Bank of America Centre will host two American Hockey League (AHL Triple A) pre-season games on Friday, October 8th and Saturday, October 9th. The two games, presented by Napa Auto Parts, will begin at 7:05 p.m.
The Utah Grizzlies are the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Phoenix Coyotes and the Edmonton Road Runners are the affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers. With the NHL lock out, these games will be the highest level of professional hockey played in North America and both teams will be carrying NHL talent on their rosters. In addition, Idaho fans will recognize several Idaho Steelheads players who will play with Utah's team.
Tickets will go on sale at the Bank of America Box Office (208.331.TIXS), Select-A-Seat Outlets (208.426.1494) and online at www.idahosteelheads.com on September 29th. Ticket prices are $5 Upper Bowl and $10 Lower Bowl. Special youth offers will be distributed to local schools compliments of Napa Auto Parts.
Napa Auto Parts will also be the title sponsor of the Utah Grizzlies training camp in Boise. The AHL team will practice at the Bank of America Centre from September 30th through October 9th. Practices are free and open to the public and media - times to be released at a later date.
