National Anthem Tryouts; Job Fair; Habitat for Humanity All this Week

Wednesday, September 22nd - Watch out Greenfield Middle School, Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will be invading your lunch. The Colonel will be handing out prizes as well as 2004-2005 Condors schedules. Keep your eyes out for the Colonel to visit your school.

Wednesday, September 22nd - Bakersfield Sports Entertainment and the Bakersfield Condors will be holding auditions for National Anthem singers for their 2004-2005 campaign from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. The tryouts will be held in "a cappella" style at Centennial Garden. Anthem singers are asked to enter through the Security Entrance, located off of N Street, behind the arena. Anthem singers are also encouraged to know the Canadian National Anthem, for the Condors will welcome the Victoria Salmon Kings (BC) to Centennial Garden for three games. Thursday, September 23rd - Come to the Holiday Inn Select for the Condors Job Fair from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. The Condors will be looking for game day employees for the upcoming season in the following positions: program sales, chuck-a-puck sales/clean up, giveaway distribution, entertainment crew, mascots, merchandise sales, and press box assistant. The Job Fair will be held in the Sumner Room at the Holiday Inn Select at 801 Truxtun Avenue. For more information call the Condors office at 324-PUCK (7825).

Saturday, September 25th - The Bakersfield Condors and the Condors Slapshot will be at the Chicago Title's employee's picnic at the Kern County Fair from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

Sunday, September 26th - Bakersfield Sports Entertainment will be at the Habitat for Humanity House building project at the Kern County Fair 2004 beginning at 1:00pm. Condors coaching staff Marty Raymond and Paul Willett as well as new defenseman Ryan Gillis will join BSE in the building of the house. Following the fair The Habitat for Humanity will be moving the house to its final location.

The Bakersfield Condors 2004-2005 season is just 32 days away! The Condors will open their second season in the ECHL on Friday, October 22, 2004 against the expansion Victoria Salmon Kings. Season tickets are now available with packages starting at just $30.
