Nailers To Host Night At The Races To Benefit Charity

WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers, the 'AA' affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins, announced today that the team will be hosting their inaugural "A Night at the Races" on Friday March 13th, 2009 at Generations Pub in the Fulton area of Wheeling. Start time for this event is 6:00 pm.
Tickets will be on sale at all Nailers home games starting this weekend and are just $15 per person. Dinner and beverages are included in the ticket price. All proceeds will go to the Golden Spike Foundation Tickets for Kids Program.
The Nailers players will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures throughout the night.

The Nailers host a three game home stand this weekend (Feb. 27-March 1) when they host the Trenton Devils and Dayton Bombers.
Friday's game is a Friday Family Four Pack Night, where families receive four tickets, four sodas, four hotdogs and one large popcorn for just $44.
A Coal Miner Spike bobble head will be given away to the first 2,500 fans in attendance on Saturday.
Sunday's game is a Sunday Family Funday, where fans have the opportunity to skate with the Nailers. Fans must provide their own skates and gloves.
