24-Hour Charity Cycling Event and Charlotte Checkers to Hold "Booty Night" March 27

Charlotte, N.C. - 24 Hours of Booty Inc., which runs the Official 24-Hour Cycling Event of the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the only 24-hour road cycling charity event in the country, announced today that it will teaming up with the Charlotte Checkers to be the benefiting organization when the hockey team takes on the Mississippi Sea Wolves at Time Warner Cable Arena on Friday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m.

24 Hours of Booty team Six Degrees is organizing the "Booty Night" event, which will include a $1,000 check presentation to team captain and partnership organizer Mike Flanagan for 24 Hours of Booty and a table at the game with 24 Hours of Booty give-away items. The Checkers are playing in their 16th season of play as a member of the ECHL. The next home game will take place March 1 against the Mississippi at 5:00pm. In the team's 15-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 11 times including four consecutive playoff appearances to date.
