Tonight, the Delaware Blue Coats (16-6) are scheduled to take on the Cleveland Charge (4-18) to kick off a jam-packed week. For the Coats, it will be the first game of four over the course of the next seven days, three of which will be played on the road.
Delaware enters the game with an 8-4 road record, but are heavily favored in both matchups against Cleveland; they sit at second in the Eastern Conference while the Charge are at the bottom with the least amount of wins (four) in the league.
The Coats have won four straight, and look to extend their streak to five tonight.
Myles Powell will be one member of the Coats looking to have a big game, as he has had the hot hand recently with two consecutive 30+ point performances. Over the last four games, he is averaging 26.5 points per, while shooting 60% from the field.
While Powell comes into the game with offensive momentum, he and his teammates will be looking to continue winning thanks to their defensive identity. Delaware currently leads the entire league in both blocks (7.5) and steals (11.9) a game. Charles Bassey, who averages 5.1 blocks per game, leads the league in that category.
With the Charge ranked twenty-eighth in the league for total points per game, it seems like the writing is on the wall for Delaware to come out with a victory in this one.
Check out what happens in tonight's game on ESPN+ or YouTube at 6:00 p.m.
