JUST-IN CREDIBLE: Fort Wayne Mad Ants forward Justin An- derson has been named the NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, March 7 through Sunday, March 13. The six-year NBA veteran steered the Mad Ants to a 3-0 week with averages of 37.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.7 steals. Anderson scored a season-high 46 points in Fort Wayne's 131-127 overtime win over the Windy City Bulls on March 8. The University of Virginia alum is the first Mad Ants player to earn the honor since Rakeem Christmas during the 2015-16 season.
BLUE COATS BREEZING: The Delaware Blue Coats have won seven of their last eight games, including four straight, to climb near the top of the Eastern Conference standings. Philadelphia 76ers Two-Way guard Myles Powell is pacing the club in scoring (23.5 ppg) , highlighted by a 39-point performance in their 144-139 March 10 triumph over the Lakeland Magic. Delaware puts its streak on the line tonight when they visit the Cleveland Charge at 6:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
THE MAINE COURSE: Maine Celtics guard Chris Clemons racked up his fourth triple-double of the season with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists in their 107-87 victory against the Motor City Cruise on March 10. The four triple-doubles are tied for the fifth-most all-time in an NBA G League season.
Oklahoma City Blue forward Daniel Hamilton recorded an NBA G League-high nine triple-doubles during the 2017-18 season. Maine returns to action against the Lakeland Magic on March 17 at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green (NBA G League Ignite, 2020-21) has been an offensive force for his team since the NBA All-Star break. The second overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft is averaging a team-high 20.2 points on nearly 50 percent shooting since the break. Green ranks second among all rookies in scoring (15.6 ppg) this season.
Raptors 905 forward Reggie Perry nailed the game-winning three-pointer to seal a 112-109 victory over the Lakeland Magic on March 12. Perry finished with 21 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
Houston Rockets Two-Way guard Trevelin Queen scored a career-high-tying 43 points in the Rio Grande Valley Vipers' 140-135 victory against the Oklahoma City Blue on March 10. Teammate Marcus Foster poured in a career-best 35 points in the contest.
Minnesota Timberwolves Two-Way guard McKinley Wright IV picked up his first career triple-double
in the Iowa Wolves' March 13 win against the Austin Spurs. Wright IV tallied 19 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Cleveland Charge guard Malik Newman led his club to its 129-119 win over the Wisconsin Herd on March 11 with 34 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
