Chris Eusay tripled home Jesus Azuaje before a Jalen Garcia drove Eusay in. Jerry Chavarria drove home the last run of the frame. The catcher had a season high four RBI tonight.
Grand Junction came closer in the later innings with two runs in the sixth and seventh. The Rockies had a chance to take the lead in the seventh inning with the go-ahead run at the plate before the Mustangs bullpen ended the threat.

Billings expanded their lead once again in the eighth with three runs and held on for their tenth victory of the season to move a game closer to the second place Idaho Falls Chukars.
