Murray scores first goal as a Canadien

Former Bulldogs C Garth Murray scored his first goal as a member of the Canadiens last night as Montreal fell by a score of 5-3 to the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place. Ex-Dogs scored seven of the game's eight goals, and three more had points.

Other former Bulldogs who contributed offensively for Montreal were C Chris Higgins (one goal, one assist), RW Michael Ryder (one goal), and C Mike Ribeiro (one assist).

Ex-Dogs who found the scoresheet for the Edmonton were RW Fernando Pisani (two goals, one assist), Oilers LW Raffi Torres (one goal), D Marc-Andre Bergeron (one goal), C Marty Reasoner (two assists), and C Jarret Stoll (one assist).

The Bulldogs next action will take place tonight, Friday, December 16, when they begin a three game road trip by facing the Philadelphia Phantoms. Game time is 7:05 p.m.

The Bulldogs next home game will take place on Friday, December 23, when they host the Rochester Americans at Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
