Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs (10-17-0-2) will look to win their third straight game tonight when they meet the Philadelphia Phantoms (13-14-0-2) in the first game of a three game road trip. This is the first meeting of the season between these two teams. The Bulldogs have an all-time record against the Phantoms of 10 wins, 11 losses and three ties, with Philadelphia winning both meetings last season.
The Bulldogs are in seventh place in the North Division with 22 points and trail the Toronto Marlies (13-14-0-0) and Cleveland Barons (12-16-1-1) by four points for fifth place. The Phantoms rank third in the East Division, behind the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (21-1-2-1) and Hershey Bears (18-4-2-4). Following tonight's game, Hamilton will travel to Hershey where they will face the Bears tomorrow, Saturday, December 17, for the second and final time this season. Game time is 7:00 p.m.

TEAM NOTES
- The Bulldogs set a franchise record on Saturday, December 10 against the Houston Aeros for the fastest three goals scored in a game, scoring three times in a 57 second span in the third period. The previous record was set on March 1, 2001 against Philadelphia, when the âDogs scored three times in 1:05.
- The seven goals scored by the Bulldogs against the Aeros matched the team's season high for most goals scored in one game. They also scored seven goals in a 7-6 win over Syracuse on Friday, October 28.
- The Bulldogs held the Aeros to a season low two shots on goal in the third period on Saturday.
PLAYER NOTES
- D Johnathan Aitken recorded his first point of the season, an assist, on Saturday, December 10 against the Houston Aeros (7-1 W).
- D Danny Syvret had his first professional multi-point game, posting two assists against Houston.
- C Marc-Antoine Pouliot, who scored the game-winning goal against Houston on Saturday, now leads the team with two game-winning markers this season.
- LW Peter Vandermeer collected two assists against Houston for his first multi-point game of the season. Vandermeer was named the game's third star.
- Six Bulldogs recorded multi-point nights on Saturday. Pouliot (1g, 1a), Vandermeer (2a), Syvret (2a), C Francis Lemieux (1g, 1a), C Corey Locke (1g, 1a) and C Maxim Lapierre (1g, 1a) all had two points each. In addition, 14 of the 17 âDogs skaters had at least one point.
- LW Jean-Francois Jacques sits tenth in scoring among rookies. Jacques has 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) in 26 games.
