Carolina Mudcats News Release
Zebulon, NC --- The Cincinnati Reds have made two more transactions impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats prior to tonight's first half finale at Tennessee.
IF Juan Francisco has been placed on the seven-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring, retroactive to June 20th. Taking Francisco's place on the active roster is IF Jake Kahaulelio, who earns the promotion from High-A Sarasota. Kahaulelio was hitting .292 over 26 games with Sarasota, and was a product of the 2007 draft by the Reds, taken in the 20th round from Oral Roberts.
