Sevierville, TN --- Jose Castro was thrown out at the plate by left fielder Ty Wright to end the game as Tennessee edged Carolina 6-5 on Wednesday night at Smokies Park.

After Luke Sommer (S, 3) was brought into the game, Sean Danielson singled softly into right field, but Castro was stopped at third base with one out.
