
Mudcats and Nationals Postponed

Zebulon, N.C. - The Carolina Mudcats and Potomac Nationals had their middle game of the series at Five County Stadium postponed due to rain on Saturday. The two clubs will finish the series on Sunday, August 3, with a doubleheader. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 1 p.m.
The twin bill will include two seven-inning games with 30 minutes in between. Right-handers D.J. Brown and Adam Plutko are expected to start for Carolina. Tickets for Saturday night's game are good for equal value to any of the remaining regular season Mudcats home games at Five County Stadium in 2014.
Bob Harris, "The Voice of the Duke Blue Devils" will be on hand to greet fans and sign autographs Sunday afternoon. Fans can also pick up a copy of his book, "How Sweet It Is." Kids Run the Bases, presented by Amerigas, will follow the completion of game two, weather permitting.
