Mudbugs To Take On Missouri On Scrubs Night Tomorrow At 7:05

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Join the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs tomorrow night at the CenturyTel Center as we welcome medical professionals from all over the Ark-La-Tex for "Scrubs Night" when the Mudbugs face the Missouri Mavericks at 7:05 pm, presented by Willis-Knighton Sports Medicine. Then after the game, come to Cantina Laredo in Shreveport for our "Mo' Bugs Gala", a special post-game party to celebrate the Mudbugs' month-long efforts to benefit Movember.

As Bossier-Shreveport faces the Missouri Mavericks for the first time ever on Saturday, events throughout the evening will be specially themed towards the medical profession as we tip our hats to everyone in the field. Hundreds of medical professionals from throughout the region will be in attendance for the game as the Mudbugs return from a three-game road swing for their first meeting with the new CHL expansion team from Independence, Missouri.

We will also host a public post-game skate tomorrow night,

where fans are invited to skate on the CenturyTel Center ice at the conclusion of the game. Cost is $6.00 per person including skate rental. Public skating is limited to the first 100 people to sign up at the Gateway Tire Fan Services Center located inside the main CTC entrance.

After a great night of hockey at the CenturyTel Center, the Mudbugs invite you to join the team at Cantina Laredo (

) for a post-game party to celebrate our Movember fundraising efforts. Throughout the month formerly known as November, Mudbugs players and staff members have been growing moustaches to increase awareness and raise money for the fight against

men's cancers.

Now we're inviting you to join us after the game Saturday night at Cantina Laredo for the "Mo' Bugs Gala" as we make one final push for donations that will benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation. We'll also name the inaugural Mudbug of Movember and Mudbugs Mo Bro/Mo Sista of 2009 winners, and Mudbugs players will be on hand to sign autographs and visit with fans after the game against Missouri.

Tonight the Mudbugs are in Laredo to finish off a three-game road trip against the Bucks. The 'Bugs had their three-game winning streak snapped against Rio Grande Valley on Wednesday night, losing 5-3 despite a 50-26 shot advantage in the game. Opening faceoff against the Bucks is set for 7:30 pm tonight at the Laredo Entertainment Center, with pregame coverage starting at 7:10 pm on News Radio 710 AM KEEL. The game will also be shown live online on CHL TV.
