Mud Hens to Host Pregame Substance Abuse Program Tuesday, July 31st

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Mud Hens, in partnership with the Toledo Police Department and the Lucas County Sheriff's Office, will be hosting a Substance Abuse Prevention Program for local underprivileged youth before their Noon game on Tuesday, July 31. Representatives from all the organizations, including Mud Hen Players, will be speaking about the importance of making positive choices and staying drug, alcohol and tobacco free. The program begins at 10:00 a. m. and nearly 900 kids will participate and attend the game that follows. All kids will be asked to recite a pledge to remain drug, alcohol and tobacco free. 2012 marks the 7th year the Mud Hens have hosted this program.
