Toledo Mud Hens Promotions for July 20 -23
Friday, July 20 ( Indianapolis, 1st pitch at 7 p.m. - Gates open at 5:30 p.m.) - The Mud Hens open a five-game series with the Indianapolis Indians, Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
- Join the Toledo Mud Hens and Kroger for Food Drive Friday! Bring in three or more non-perishable food items and receive a new Mud Hens/Kroger re-usable shopping bag! Donation stations are located on the main concourse.
- Pink in the Park for the cure! The Toledo Mud Hens are wearing pink jerseys to raise awareness of breast cancer. Fans can bid on the jerseys during the game on the main concourse, with proceeds benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Representatives from Komen will be on the main concourse providing information about breast cancer awareness and registration for the 2012 Race for the Cure. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
- Pert Plus is providing limited samples of Pert and Brut products! You can get your sample following the game at the gates.
- Prior to the fireworks, the student run theatre company, Summerstock Toledo is performing a piece from their upcoming production of My Favorite Year. Summerstock Toledo performance dates are July 27th & July 28th at 8pm and July 29th at 3pm. All shows will be held at Ottawa Hills High School.
- Don't forget about the post-game fireworks, courtesy of Corner Dental.
- Get your sleeping bags ready! The scouts are coming together for the third Boy Scout Sleepover of the season.
Saturday, July 21 ( Indianapolis, 1st pitch at 5:30 p.m. - Gates open at 4 p.m.) - Double your fun with a double-header when the Hens continue the series against the Indianapolis Indians. One ticket is good for TWO games at this unique double-header event, presented by Buckeye TeleSystem. Each game is seven innings with the first pitch at 5:30 and a 20 minute break in between.
- Still hungry after the game? Well you're in luck! BIGS Sunflower seeds will be given out at the conclusion of the Mud Hens game!
- The sky will light up with post-game fireworks!
- Let the camp-out continue when the Boy Scouts sleep over at Fifth Third Field for a second night.
Sunday, July 22 ( Indianapolis, 1st pitch at 6 p.m. - Gates open at 4:30 p.m.) - The Hens and Indians continue their series at Fifth Third Field.
- Say Cheese! It is Pictures with the Players Day at Fifth Third Field. Mud Hens fans are encouraged to arrive early for one of the most popular promotions of the year. Mud Hens players pose for photos with you on the main concourse from 4:30 - 5:15 p.m.
- Happy Birthday Muddy! It is Muddy's Birthday Bash and Mascot Mania at Fifth Third Field, courtesy of Toft's Ice Cream! There are plenty of photo opportunities, with the more than 20 mascots that are coming to the game.
- Muddy's mascot friends are throwing him a very special pregame birthday party from 5 p.m.-6:30 p. m. in the Home Run Picnic Terrace. Tickets are $12 and it includes a game ticket, pre-game ice cream buffet, and Muddy's birthday cake! The fun doesn't stop there. Children will receive prizes and enjoy face painters, glitter tattoo artists, a stilt walker, and a juggler! Stick around to see Muddy get his birthday present from Toft's Ice Cream in the middle of the 1st inning! Get your tickets now by calling 419-725-HENS!
- Come to the Mud Hens for a Latino Pre-Game Celebration. Fans should arrive early to see the sights and sounds of a mariachi band, traditional dancers and more! The Latino Pre-Game Celebration is presented by La Prensa.
- The Chicklets are back! Come check out the girls' dance performance on the field prior to the Mud Hens game and in the stands during the game, courtesy of Roots Poultry.
- Like every other Sunday during the season, kids run the bases post-game!
- The Mud Hens make a colorful conclusion to the game with post-game fireworks, presented by Wildwood Environmental Academy.
Monday, July 23 ( Indianapolis, 1st pitch at 7 p.m. - Gates open at 6 p.m.) - The Mud Hens and Indians wrap up their series in Toledo.
- Mark your calendar for the premiere of Muddy's Buddies Field Day! Members of the Muddy's Buddies Kids Club are invited to participate in the field day. The event is from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and kids can hit, run the bases, play catch in the outfield, and more! You can still sign up for a Muddy's Buddies membership by visiting our website. Muddy's Buddies members can RSVP for the event by emailing LAnderson@mudhens.com! The Muddy's Buddies Field Day is presented by McDonald's and 13abc.
- It is Muddy's Buddies Night at Fifth Third Field! Members of the kids club can get into the game for $6 by showing their membership card at the box office. The perks don't stop there! All Mud Hens games can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio, WCWA, and seen live on BCSN. Both the radio and television pre-game shows start at 30 minutes before the scheduled game time.
