OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals are back in action at Rosenblatt Stadium Wednesday night, opening an eight-game homestand, with the first of four games against the Las Vegas 51s. That series will be followed by a four-game set with the Tucson Sidewinders. These exciting promotions are on tap:
Wednesday, August 1, 7:05 p.m.: The 1st 100 kids eat FREE, with a pizza courtesy of SUBWAY and ValPak!
Thursday, August 2, 7:05 p.m.: CBSHOME presents MS Awareness Night. The Royals will wear special orange jerseys during the game, which will be auctioned off to raise money for the Nebraska chapter of the MS Society. It's also Thirsty Thursday with $1 beer and Cokes during the game and live music from In Parentheses, as well as drink specials in the Stadium View Club after the game, courtesy of Miller Lite, 96.1 The Brew and the City Weekly! Plus, the 1st 500 kids 12-and-under receive a Sluggerrr T-Shirt, courtesy of the Kansas City Royals, and the popular KC mascot will be on hand throughout the night!
Friday, August 3, 7:05 p.m.: Game 3 of the Las Vegas series is a Werner Enterprises Fireworks Friday, also presented by KETV-Channel 7 and KAT 103!
Saturday, August 4, 6:05 p.m.: Hy-Vee, Roberts Dairy and KGBI 100.7 FM present Faith and Family Night, featuring Echoing Angels in concert! In between the game and the concert, Hy-Vee and Roberts Dairy will provide fans with free snacks and beverages. Former Omaha Royals great Dwayne Hosey will throw out a ceremonial first pitch and give a testimonial prior to the concert. The night is also presented by WOWT-Channel 6 and 1620 The Zone!
Sunday, August 5, 1:35 p.m.: The 1st 500 kids 12-and-under receive an Alex Gordon Replica Jersey, courtesy of Bellevue University! It's also Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting, balloon art and kids invited to run the bases after the game, presented by KGBI 100.7 FM, KPTM-Fox 42 and Just for Kids & Families! Plus, all Royals Kids Club members receive a free ticket to the game, courtesy of SUBWAY!
Monday, August 6, 7:05 p.m.: It's Free Money Monday! The 1st 500 fans will receive either cash or prizes, brought to you by Country 97.3 KBLR!
