Moseley Joins Bees for Rehab Assignment

SALT LAKE CITY (May 18, 2008) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that pitcher Dustin Moseley will make a rehab appearance for the Salt Lake Bees when the team faces the Sacramento River Cats today at 2:05 p.m. (MST) in Sacramento, Calif. The Salt Lake Bees also announced today that the club has recalled infielder Larry Infante to triple-A Salt Lake from single-A Rancho Cucamonga.

Moseley, 26, has been on the disabled list since May 4 with tightness in his right forearm. In a previous rehab outing this season, the Texarkana, Ark. native pitched 3.2 innings, recording six strikeouts on May 12 with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. In seven games for the Angels in 2008, he is 1-3 with a 7.85 ERA. Moseley joined the Angels in a trade from the Cincinnati Reds on December 14, 2004.

Infante, 23, has appeared in 34 games for the Quakes this season, hitting .262 with five doubles, nine RBI and two stolen bases. A native of Ocumare del Tuy, Venezuela, Infante signed with the Angels as a nondrafted free agent in 2004. He has appeared in nine games for the Bees, seven in 2005 and two in 2006.
