BELLEVILLE, ON - The Belleville Bulls host the Kitchener Rangers for the first and only time this season on Family Day at the Yardmen Arena. The Bulls are coming off a high scoring affair on Saturday night as they defeated the Peterborough Petes 7-5. The Rangers are also fresh off a win as they downed the Mississauga Steelheads 6-3 on home ice. Puck drop is set for 2:05pm.
After being down 3-1 starting the third period, the Rangers poured it on offensively scoring 5 goals within the first 9 minutes. Brandon Robinson, who had a hat-trick, Darby Llewellyn, Mike Davies and Dylan DiPerna all found the back of the net in front of 6,820 fans at the Aud. 1996-born goaltender Dawson Carty made 29 saves in the win.

It was a record-breaking night at the Yardmen Arena on Saturday as the Bulls downed the Peterborough Petes 7-5. Vancouver Canucks prospect Jordan Subban broke the franchise record for most goals in a season by a defenceman after scoring his 20th and 21st of the campaign. The record was previously held by Shawn Lalonde. Other goal scorers for the Bulls in the contest were Matt Luff, Maurizio Colella, Brett Gustavsen and Michael Cramarossa who buried two. Charlie Graham made 29 saves in Belleville's first win in 8 games on home-ice.
Subban continues to lead the club in scoring with 21 goals and 21 assists in 51 games played. Welland, Ontario native Niki Petti has also been a strong contributor as he has posted 15 goals and 19 assists in 52 games played. Forward Stephen Harper returns to the line up after serving a two game suspension for slew footing.
The Bulls have created some much-needed separation in the Eastern Conference as the regular season reaches the final stretch. Just six points separate four teams with 14 games remaining.
