Wausau, WIS- The Wisconsin Woodchucks will be at home again this week, June 9-June 11, and once again, plenty of fun is planned for the entire family!
The homestand kicks off today, June 9 when the Woodchucks take on the Battle Creek Bombers at 6:35 p.m. Tonight is the second day of Woody's Reading Club presented by Dovorany Orthodontics, Culver's, Sun Printing and your Wisconsin Woodchucks. Woody's Reading Club offers exciting prizes, such as free Woodchucks tickets and Culver's treats, to help motivate students to read throughout the school year. We're excited to have the students who successfully completed their reading challenge with us at tonight's game!
Wednesday, June 10 night closes the series with the Battle Creek Bombers at 6:35 p.m. and brings another giveaway to Athletic Park! The first 500 fans will receive a Woodchucks cooler bag courtesy of Thrivent Financial. Wednesday is also Waterpark Wednesday, the first 500 children, 12 and under, will receive a complimentary waterpark pass courtesy of the Grand Lodge Waterpark Resort.
The homestand wraps up on Thursday night, June 11 as the Woodchucks take on the Green Bay Bullfrogs at 7:05 p.m. Thursday night is Aspirus Night, presented by Aspirus and Wittenberg Community Night, presented by Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg. We will also be running Thirsty Thursday specials featuring $2 tap Miller Lites and fountain sodas. We look forward to see you at Athletic Park for this stretch of Woodchucks fun!
Tickets for all of the games can be purchased online, at woodchucks.com, by calling the Front Office at 715.845.5055, or by stopping by the Front Office (300 3rd. St. Suite 305, Wausau WI 54403) anytime between 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. The box office at Athletic Park (324 E. Wausau Ave, Wausau WI 54403) opens at 1:30 p.m. on game days. The Woodchucks are looking forward to a fun filled season at Athletic Park and we hope to see you there!
