Moose Sign Josh Aspenlind To AHL Contract

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have signed right wing Josh Aspenlind to an American Hockey League contract.

Aspenlind, 24, appeared in 62 games with the Lake Erie Monsters last season. In that span, he collected seven points (3g & 4a) along with 53 penalty minutes. He also played in six games with the Elmira Jackels of the ECHL in 2009-10 where he scored one goal.

The Langley, BC native has played in a career 91 American Hockey League games between Binghamton and Lake Erie. Throughout his AHL career, the right winger has accumulated nine points (4g & 5a) along with 92 penalty minutes.

Aspenlind played 257 games in the Western Hockey League between Prince George, Swift Current and Chilliwack. In that time, he collected 132 points (62g & 70a) and 487 penalty minutes.
